Hello dear reader… this author has recently watched Bridgerton and now imagines all writing to be read in the style of Lady Whistledown…
It’s been a while since I posted or released a Podcast episode.
Turns out recovering from Cancer and building your life up again afterwards is not a linear process. There are ups and downs - it comes in waves. It feels right now that the waves have subsided into a gentle lap so I’m back here sharing insights into what true healing really means.
For me, going through stage 3 bowel cancer aged 39 was a true wake up call to who I really am.
It was recognising that I’ve been suppressing my emotions
It was learning to express them fully (still working on that).
It was identifying cyclical patterns that started in early childhood and it’s now time to break those patterns.
It was diving deep into my diet and relationship with food
It was analysing blood test results to see how I could optimise my health
It was experimenting with different supplements
It was doing ancestral healing work
It was facing old fears linked to school experiences of bullying
It was dealing with strategy trauma (trying ALL the things that everyone recommended even if it wasn’t aligned) and burn out after pushing too hard in 2020 to 2022
It was paying off debts I’d accumulated whilst I was ill
It was investing in myself by working with my favourite mentors
It was diving even deeper into my Human Design to truly know myself
All of this felt like leaving the Matrix of my life before cancer (BC) and creating something brand new in this Post Cancer world (PC).
There is so much I want to share with you - you don’t have to go through cancer to leave the matrix!
I’ll be back soon, but for now, just know that from pain comes power. Whenever you go through something truly shit like cancer, eventually there is gold you can extract from the experience, if you do the inner work.
