Time to Change Perspective
What is your Myers-Brigg personality type and what is the connection to Tarot?
This week’s feeling - Hanged Man / Woman
Time to Change Perspective
I often find it easier to communicate how I feel via imagery - which is why I feel this tarot card sums things up right now.
The traditional image (on the left above) shows a man hanging upside down - which may seem uncomfortable, but he looks pretty zen and has a halo around his head. He is seeing what he has often looked at from a whole new point of view. I also enjoy finding modern interpretations like the one in the middle and right below. I get a sense of balance, presence and inner strength from those. Like that time you FINALLY nail a balanced yoga pose after months of trying! (I am now studying Art Therapy so watch out for more visual cues and discussions!)
When we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change.
I am feeling that with my work at the moment. I am returning to focusing on in-person events alongside my online membership. Stepping away from how things appear in the virtual world and creating connection in real life.
Check out my new upcoming free offering “Unscroll Your Life”. -details below. I will be offering new in-person experiences to those who join this as well as a special membership offer and new Beta group course.
Do you know your Myers-Briggs Personality Type? What about it's connection to Tarot?!
⭐️ If you don't know your Myers-Briggs, take this free test (it's a personality measure based on where you sit on 4 core traits based on the work of Carl Jung, one of my favourite Psychologists who I wrote a lot about for my Psychology degree!)
⭐️ Bookmark your result / use it to have a chat with Chat GPT about any situation in your life. The results were remarkably similar to what I get back when using my Human Design chart. (Also, I'd LOVE to know your type… I seem to attract more of certain profiles than others which makes sense!)
⭐️ Once you feel you have a handle on the info, check out this article about the link between your type and the Tarot Court Cards. It is a loose interpretation, but I find it adds an extra layer of understanding. Other interpretations link the cards differently - there are overlaps so don't take this as gospel, but an idea to play with!
I am an INFP (and boarderline between the P being a J). So in Tarot per this article = The Page of Cups… this feels aligned with my Pisces Nature and also the fact my North Node is 0 degrees cancer.
⭐️ Hit reply (or comment below) and let me know yours along with your big three in astrology (sun, moon, rising) if you'd like me to send some extra insights about yours!
Let me know any ah-ha moments you have with this!
What I'm Learning
I have finally finished The Human Design for Business course by Phoebe Kuhn… I signed up in late 2023 so it's taken some time as there is a LOT of content in it. (I don't think it's available to new sign ups anymore). I feel like I've extracted what I need as a 6/2 Manifesting Generator from it and developed my own approach.
I am currently reviewing courses I've signed up to in the last couple of years and either completing them or mentally marking as ‘done’ if I don't feel I'm going to get anything from completing them 100% or if I watched maybe 40% and got what I needed from it.
I have an Asana board of all the courses I've joined (it's a lot!) so it's a real sense of resetting and getting rid of any digital or mental ‘clutter’ in the ‘I Should really finish that’ or a sense of guilt that I didn't complete. Some of the courses are just not aligned with my direction / approach anymore.
One of my Gene Keys is called The Completion / Celebration Doula, so it feels like a real activation of that in me at the moment. Time to draw a line in the sand (and celebrate that!)
What I'm Reading…
I normally 90% of the time read non-fiction self-development books, however I realised I missed a good story and years ago I added the first book in ACOTAR (A Court of Thorns & Roses) to my Kindle. A few weeks back, I finally started reading it… it is a bit trashy, but also a lot in the story I resonate with (I love most stories with a strong female lead).
From books 1 & 2 the main themes I resonated with:
1. Healing is not linear
The story honours the slow, messy, and nonlinear nature of healing - showing that strength isn’t about suppressing pain, but learning how to carry it differently.
2. Choosing yourself is a radical act
Feyre outgrows the version of herself that was shaped by survival - choosing yourself can mean walking away from something that once felt like everything.
3. Power and freedom are earned, not given
Her power grows in direct proportion to her self-awareness. She’s no longer rescued - she rescues herself.
4. Love that honours your wholeness looks different
The love she experiences isn't about control but about holding space for her to rise.
5. Feminine power is layered
Feyre’s journey mirrors a return to the sacred feminine: intuition, feeling deeply, creating, choosing softness and strength. Her story reminds us that being powerful doesn’t mean being hardened.
6. Your true family can be chosen
There’s a beautiful reminder here that soul-aligned friendships can be just as healing - and vital - as romantic love.
Q: What life lessons do you take from what you read? Have you read ACOTAR? (Don't tell me anything beyond book 2!)
